Brian Gutekunst clears up Aaron Rodgers trade rumors

Ever since the 2021 season came to a close for the Green Bay Packers, trade rumors have swirled surrounding Aaron Rodgers. Will he end up being shipped out to a new team or not?

That's what everyone is wondering, but general manager Brian Gutekunst came out and made it clear that's not on his mind. Matter of fact, he said the Packers are yet to receive a single trade offer for the future Hall of Famer.

Packers GM Brian Gutekunst said this week at the combine that he hasn't gotten a single call about trading Rodgers and, per a source, this remains true: The Packers have NOT engaged in trade talks with any teams about Rodgers.

This clears up a lot of speculation, but Rodgers' future is up in the air. We should find out soon if he'll be playing for Green Bay in 2022 or retire.
