Prior to this new update, Harris requested a new contract, and if it wasn't met, he wanted a trade out of Denver. However, Harris has stressed his desire to spend his entire NFL career with the Broncos.
Per reports on Memorial Day weekend, Harris, his agent, and general manager John Elway met to discuss a new deal. After flying to Denver on Tuesday, Harris put pen to paper.

During his eight-year career with Denver, Harris recorded 462 tackles, 83 passes defensed, 19 interceptions, five forced fumbles, and 4.5 sacks. The corner was also named to four Pro Bowls and was named to the All-Pro first team in 2016.
Harris is one of the top defensive backs in the NFL, and the Denver Broncos ensured that his financial requests were met and that he'd be ready to go for the upcoming season.
