Broncos CB De'Vante Bausby Recounts Terrifying Injury That Left Him Temporarily Unable to Move
By Parker White

On Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers, Denver Broncos cornerback De'Vante Bausby collided with teammate Alexander Johnson, leaving him motionless on the field.
Bausby was placed on a back board and taken off the field immediately. It was a terrifying sight, especially after hearing him say he "couldn't move" for 30 minutes after the big hit with his teammate.

“I was never unconscious, I just couldn't move, but I was still talking and everything,” Bausby said on Tuesday, going back what happened. “The doc, the neurologist said I was going to be fine and I just trusted that, and after about 30 minutes I was able to wiggle my toes and after a couple hours I was able to regain full mobility, so I was straight. I was fine."

Bausby underwent a full neurological workup and was diagnosed with a cervical sprain.
Now that he's regained mobility after this freak accident, Bausby is aiming for a return to the field.
“Strengthen my (neck) muscles again and I’ll be good to go,” Bausby said.
You love the positive outlook but being paralyzed for a half-hour isn't normal and shouldn't be taken lightly. It appears he'll be able to play again, but a timetable for his return has not yet been established.
