Broncos Might as Well Flush Season Down the Toilet After Bradley Chubb Suffers Torn ACL
By Thomas Carannante
That's it. Denver's season is fully over, if fans didn't think that was already the case after an 0-4 start.
Star outside linebacker Bradley Chubb suffered a torn ACL in the team's heartbreaking Week 4 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, and that might as well be a death sentence for the Broncos' season.
Now head coach Vic Fangio will have to figure out a way to also get his replacement no sacks.
The underachieving Broncos defense is surely going to be in trouble without one of their best players, who was only able to record 21 tackles and one sack through four games.
But the man's dedication is undeniable. He actually played AFTER suffering the injury.
It couldn't be more of a nightmare start for the Broncos. They kicked off the year losing to the Oakland Raiders and then (on top of getting dominated by the Packers) suffered two last-second losses to the Bears and Jags.
What a shame too, considering Fangio finally found a way to get Chubb and Von Miller a few sacks for the first time this year. Now that dream-sack duo is down to one and the Broncos season is over before October.
