Broncos TE Jake Butt to Undergo Yet Another Knee Surgery
By Karl Rasmussen

Denver Broncos tight end Jake Butt was a highly-coveted prospect during his college days with the Michigan Wolverines, but injuries have put a damper on what was a high-potential career for the 24-year-old.
Already having undergone three ACL surgeries in the past, Butt will be forced to undergo the knife once again after experiencing soreness in his left knee.
#broncos TE Jake Butt, who unbelievably as fought through 3 ACL surgeries, has experienced soreness in his left knee (most recent ACL). He will now undergo a minor procedure on that knee I’m told. You have to feel for a player with so much talent & is such a good person too.

Butt's most recent ACL surgery was on his left knee, so this is concerning for the Broncos who were hopeful that his injury woes were in the past.
Since being selected the seventh-round of the 2017 NFL Draft, Butt has only played in three games for the Broncos. Injuries sidelined him for his entire rookie year and the vast majority of the 2018 season.
Described as minor. But considering what he’s been through, noteworthy. https://t.co/HukRuZWZFf

Given his extensive injury history, the Broncos will want to exercise caution with Butt.
During his college days, Butt won the Kwalick-Clark Tight End of the Year Award in 2015 and 2016, earned first-team All-American honors and was the recipient of the Ozzie Newsome Award.
Hopefully the latest knock won't keep him out for too long, though he won't be suiting up for Thursday's preseason finale against the Cardinals.
