Bronny James Trolls Darius Garland on Instagram After Cavs' Rookie Stole His Intro Caption
By Kevin Aquino
With the NBA Draft and the bulk of free agency behind us, there've been a ton of introductions: wide-eyed rookies with their first NBA team, new signings holding up their new jerseys, and even Bronny James getting an Instagram account.
Unfortunately, this isn't another episode of the James family's "TACO TUUUUUESDAY!" series, but there could still be some beef here.
New Cleveland Cavaliers rookie, Darius Garland posted a photo on Instagram, captioned "HEY IG" with the waving hand emoji. Sound familiar?
In late May, Bronny James posted his first IG picture -- which has gotten over 1.2 million likes -- with the same exact caption. The 14-year-old commented on Garland's picture, accusing the latter of theft.
Garland responded with "Bronny you just got instagram." -- a fair point given Bronny's account is less than two months old. Interestingly enough, Garland isn't just suiting up for the franchise that LeBron James put on the map, he's also a Klutch Sports client.
It's all fun and games, as evident by Garland telling Bronny to "get on Fortnite" in the comments thread, but Bronny may not forget this incident when he's also suiting up for an NBA team in four or five years.
