The Cleveland Browns are losing yet another executive.

Assistant general manager Eliot Wolf will be leaving the organization, as first reported early Wednesday, then walked back before ultimately being deemed accurate. Wolf was hired by former general manager John Dorsey in January of 2018.

Dorsey was fired in December, and Wolf's departure comes only one day after the Browns hired Andrew Berry as Dorsey's replacement. It also coincides with the termination of Cleveland's Vice President of Player Personnel Alonzo Highsmith, which occurred earlier on Wednesday.

As a former lead scout for the Green Bay Packers, Wolf has been a top general manager candidate for several seasons. According to reports, the organization made an effort to keep Wolf in the front office, but he chose to depart amidst the many other personnel changes that have occurred over the two-day span.

Berry, in his second day on the job, has now been dealt the task of filling two of his front office's most prominent executive positions.

All sounds like just another day in the Dawg Pound.
