Browns Backup QB With Absurdly Low Madden Rating Offers Cash Prize to Anyone Who Wins MVP With Him

Now this is a fun way to embrace an otherwise embarrassing situation.

Cleveland Browns backup quarterback David Blough was given a ridiculously low 48 overall rating in Madden is offering up $250 to the first person who can win MVP and the Super Bowl with him under center on All-Madden difficulty.

No offense to Blough, but it's going to take a truly Herculean effort for someone to accomplish this.

People were more than happy to console Baker Mayfield's backup though, even reminding him that Tom Brady once started out as a 57 overall player that didn't even have a name.

Blough certainly doesn't lack potential. The four-year quarterback from Purdue torched Ohio State for 377 yards and 3 touchdowns in his senior year. He also picked apart Missouri early in the year, throwing for an absurd 572 yards.

Whoever chooses to take on the challenge will have their work cut out for them. As much as he's shown flashes of brilliance, a sub-50 rating in Madden is incredibly difficult to overcome. But with the looks of his speed ratings, if you can use him as a scrambling quarterback, perhaps there's a chance.

It's a long road to the MVP and an even longer road to the Super Bowl. We eagerly await to see if anyone manages to climb the mountain and win the $250.
