Browns CB Greedy Williams Needs to Stop With the Outlandish Claims
By Max Scoli
Browns cornerback Greedy Williams has yet to play a game in the NFL, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have his eyes on the ultimate football honor.
Williams won't rest until he is inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
"My job isn't finished until I have a gold jacket," Williams said. "That's a goal I made in college when I was out there making plays and stuff, and I remember my first game, caught an interception and I said, 'When I get to the NFL level, I want to be a Hall of Famer.'"

That's a pretty bold claim for "Greedy-Deedee," who should show his talent on the national scale before making claims like these. Everybody wants to be a Hall of Famer, but it's another thing to deserve it.
Greedy was selected in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft as a standout defender for LSU. The cornerback was named First Team All-SEC for both years that he played college ball and earned an All-American nod as a sophomore.
Williams isn't the first Cleveland Brown to make such a declaration. Joe Thomas said the same thing as a rookie, and ended up being a seven-time First-Team All-Pro honoree.
At this point, Greedy can only hope his play will back his words.
