Browns Changed End Zone Painting to Try and Bring Back 2018 Good Luck
By Jerry Trotta
With their playoff hopes fading fast as they sit at 2-6, the Cleveland Browns will do just about anything to right the ship.
While we assumed that would see Freddie Kitchens making the necessary adjustments to his game plan, the Browns have opted to take a more superstitious route.
Ahead of Sunday's clash versus the Buffalo Bills at FirstEnergy Stadium, Cleveland has completely altered the painting pattern of their end zone to try and bring back the good luck of 2018.
That's definitely something!
We understand that times in The Land are strenuous, but do the Browns really think that a little bit of superstition will shift the narrative surrounding their club?
Who knows, maybe the horizontal stripes will will Kitchens' side to not being one of the most penalized teams in the NFL. And maybe, just maybe, Baker Mayfield will stop regressing and morph back to the confident and efficient gunslinger he personified during his rookie campaign in 2018.
If the Browns can somehow muster a sliver of that positivity today against the 6-2 Bills, well, you'll know who to thank: the landscaping crew at FirstEnergy Stadium.
