Browns and GM John Dorsey Parting Ways in Surprise Twist
By Sam Dunn

You thought the wheels had already come off entirely in Cleveland. You really thought the firing of head coach Freddie Kitchens after one year was the bottom of the barrel. Well, you were wrong.
Per NFL insider Ian Rapoport the Browns are parting ways with general manager John Dorsey, the architect behind their would-be resurgence over the last two seasons.
The #Browns and GM John Dorsey are parting ways, sources tell me and @MikeGarafolo. Not a surprise given the events of the this morning.

Wow.
It's been more than clear that the issues plaguing the Browns went far, far beyond Kitchens, and we now have serious proof. The sheer scope of the mess that owner Jimmy Haslam has on his hands cannot be understated -- Dorsey was supposed to be THE guy.
My understanding is #Browns owner Jimmy Haslam is considering structural changes that would curb John Dorsey's authority as GM. Nothing done yet, but this appears to be headed towards reaching a settlement and parting ways.

The former Chiefs executive drafted Baker Mayfield, Denzel Ward, Nick Chubb, and Greedy Williams. He went out and got Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham Jr. and Kareem Hunt. He was supposed to revive this team and bring them to new heights.
Multiple sources around the league believe Browns’ GM John Dorsey is out, however there still are more meetings today to finalize parting arrangements.

Instead, this is all poised to end in disaster.
As with almost everything remotely to do with the cursed Browns, there are no real winners here. Just delusions, hype, and nonsense.
