After losing two straight games, adding onto a disappointing season, the Cleveland Browns believe a change at left tackle will help solve their problems.

Browns left tackle Greg Robinson has confirmed that, after talking with team general manager John Dorsey, he has been benched.

Robinson will be the backup for Sunday's game against the New England Patriots on the road, though he did not say who will be starting at left tackle. Right now, it seems Justin McCray will be protecting quarterback Baker Mayfield's blind side.

Of course, that seems likely to be a temporary fix, with Cleveland hard after two high-profile LT fits on the trade market, with a hard acquisition deadline of Tuesday.

Yes, in addition to long-time holdout Trent Williams, the Browns are also reportedly interested in trading for Nate Solder.

The Browns' offensive line did not allow a sack in last Sunday's 32-28 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, but Mayfield threw three interceptions and fumbled, and the team as a whole committed nine penalties totaling 83 yards.

The week before, the Browns lost to the San Francisco 49ers 31-3 on the road on Monday Night Football. The offensive line allowed four sacks, and Mayfield threw two interceptions while only passing for 100 yards.

The Browns will try to knock off the best defense in the NFL on Sunday when they head to Gillette Stadium. Best of luck protecting your QB in that scenario, no matter the personnel.
