VIDEO: Browns Reveal New Jerseys for 2020 in Awesome Montage Celebrating Team's Tradition
By Michael Luciano

Rather than go in a bold new direction with their new uniforms like the Atlanta Falcons did, the Cleveland Browns followed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers model of going back to their early 2000s threads that were regarded as some of the best in the league. They revealed them on Wednesday for everyone to see.
True to ourselves.

True to our loyal fans.
True to who we’ll always be.https://t.co/VwRW3sfRSx pic.twitter.com/HbQYZQEu9N
The Browns eschewed their controversial, loud uniforms from the last five years and returned to their traditional look of brown jerseys, white pants, white lettering, and stripes. The team also unveiled a white jersey/brown pants combination as well as an all-white uniform and an all-brown alternate jersey with orange numbering.
While the Browns did bring back the alternating stripes on the shoulder pads in addition to striped socks, some fans are a bit peeved at the fact they scrapped the orange pants.
Even with that, the general consensus has been that the return to the classic look was a massive success, as they look clean and unique.

Sometimes, going back to the basics ends up creating a more palatable uniform combination than trying to reinvent the wheel. The Browns realized they had some gems with their old uniform set, and decided that returning to those combinations was the right way to go.
