Browns Reportedly Hire Eagles Exec Andrew Berry as New GM
By Karl Rasmussen

The Cleveland Browns took their time when searching for the organization's next general manager, determined to find a strong fit after parting ways with John Dorsey.
After about a month of interviews, the Browns have found their man. Philadelphia Eagles' vice president of football operations Andrew Berry has landed the job, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Browns now officially have reached agreement with Eagles' VP of Football Operations Andrew Berry to be their GM and EVP of Football Operations, per source. Browns will announce it this afternoon, and are expected to have a press conference next week to introduce him.

This isn't exactly a surprising hire. In fact, fellow candidate George Paton actually withdrew himself from contention due to the fact he felt the job was Berry's to lose. Looks like he was spot on with that assessment.
Berry is familiar with the Browns, having worked as vice president of player personnel in Cleveland from 2016-18. He only joined the Eagles last year before being brought back to Cleveland to a vastly improved role.

Berry will work closely alongside newly hired head coach Kevin Stefanski, as the two look to maximize the potential of this Browns' team. He'll need to live up to some high expectations in Year 1, but the organization seems confident Berry is the right man for the position.
