Browns Reportedly Looking to Pair Mike McCarthy and Eliot Wolf Together in Cleveland

Major changes have been made in Cleveland, while there's still much work to be done to get this team back to the postseason. After firing head coach Freddie Kitchens, Cleveland also parted ways with GM John Dorsey.
However, is there something brewing in town already? Per Browns insider Mary Kay Cabot, Cleveland's front office is looking at Mike McCarthy as their new head coach, while promoting assistant GM Eliot Wolf to GM. The two former Packers back together?
Ex #Packers coach Mike McCarthy is the #Browns 1st interview on Thursday, & a pairing with Browns asst. GM Eliot Wolf is being considered, league sources tell clevelanddotcom. 9 playoffs seasons together in GB, 1 Super Bowl win https://t.co/AHKfq8xcfR

There's no denying McCarthy is a winner, while his work with Wolf also stands out. You mean to tell me the two won a Super Bowl and went to the playoffs nine times together while with the Packers? Pretty dang impressive.
Right now, the Browns need to make sure they make the right hire. The organization has been a disaster over the years. This campaign, they had Super Bowl aspirations after big offseason moves, none more highlighted than landing Odell Beckham Jr. Things simply didn't work out in Year 1.
Just got off the phone with an emotional Freddie Kitchens. He believed he had organizational support. He did not. https://t.co/6263Mmh7c0

Would McCarthy be the hire to make the Browns a true threat in the AFC? His resume speaks for itself. Now we must wait to see if Cleveland thinks he's got what it takes to power them to the postseason.
