Buccaneers OL Alex Cappa is an absolute warrior, and he proved it against the Saints on Sunday.

The second-year guard out of Humboldt State suffered an arm injury in the second quarter, but did not leave the game. Well, it turns out the injury wasn't minor. He broke his freaking arm.

Yeah, Cappa broke his arm and then continued on to play two more quarters of football, in a position where arm strength (well, strength in general) goes a long way.

There's no telling whether staying in the game caused excess damage to Cappa's arm, but either way, you can count on him getting back onto the field as soon as he's medically cleared.

Cappa has started all five games of the NFL season so far, but someone will have to step up in his absence. Not to knock the next guy up, who per the team's depth chart is Earl Watford, but we aren't banking on him being half as tough as the 6-foot-6, 304-pound behemoth.

The Bucs are 2-3 on the season after falling to their division rival, and will have to prepare for their matchup with the Panthers next week without Cappa.
