Bruce Irvin's Message to Seahawks Fans After Re-Joining Seattle is Downright Awesome
Bruce Irvin was taken No. 15 overall in the 2012 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks. He won a Super Bowl with the team before departing for Oakland in 2016.
Irvin has also had stops in Atlanta and Carolina. Yet, Seattle was his first home and the Seahawks have decided to bring Irvin back in free agency. The linebacker had an awesome tweet regarding the news.
The veteran set a new career-high in sacks last season with 8.5. He set his previous high back in 2012 when he became a key piece on a Seahawks defense that was good enough to reach several Super Bowls.
Seeing Irvin excited about the reunion should have Seahawks fans pumped up for the 2020 season. He is a remnant of some of the best years in franchise history and is also still playing at a high level.
Positive news goes a long way in such an uncertain time in society. Fans in Seattle can get a break from all the coronavirus news and get some joy from Irvin's excitement about coming home.
