VIDEO: Bryce Harper Crushing Late Night Batting Practice Will Get Phillies Fans in a Frenzy
By Andrew Gullotta
If anyone missed that sweet sound of the crack of a bat, Phillies star Bryce Harper came through for you in a big way. The former MVP shared a video on Twitter of him hitting a bomb in batting practice at 1:00 AM. Folks, you really are going to love seeing this.
This clip will get any Phillies fan excited, as their star player seems like he's ready to go once the baseball season eventually starts. Harper even did his signature stance with the bat extended towards the mound after he sent the ball to the moon.
Harper will look to rebound after a inconsistent first year in Philadelphia, where he only hit .260 and didn't make the All-Star team for the first time since 2014. He and the rest of the Phillies will look to bounce back after a disappointing '19. The team added not only Harper, but also All-Stars Andrew McCutchen, Jean Segura, and JT Realmuto, yet didn't make the postseason.
This lone clip from Harper will provide promise that a big season could be on the way. If you don't mind, keep posting these swings for fans to enjoy, Bryce.
