Phillies fans were given a major scare on Tuesday when star outfielder Bryce Harper took a pitch off his foot during an at-bat against the Twins. Minnesota's Sean Poppen lost control of a pitch, which ran inside and clipped Harper in the front foot. The 27-year-old went down in pain and didn't return to the game.

Harper played in 157 games for the Phillies last year, hitting .260 with 35 home runs and a career-high 114 RBI. It goes without saying that the Phillies could sink to the bottom of the division without him in the lineup.
Fans in Philly will be hoping his removal from the game was simply a precautionary move from Joe Girardi, and will be waiting with bated breath for a status update on the slugger.
