Bryce Harper Introduces New Son 'Krew' to the World in Instagram Post

Congratulations are in order for Phillies star Bryce Harper, after he and his wife have welcomed their new baby boy Krew to the world. Harper took to Instagram to let us all know of the news.
Krew is Bryce and his wife Kayla's first child, and was born last Thursday. The newborn measures at seven pounds, nine ounces, and 19 inches.
Philadelphia fans have to be hoping that Harper experiences a Fred Van Vleet-type effect, as he went bonkers in the playoffs after the birth of his son. The Phillies are third in the NL East, and can use a major boost with a little over a month before the MLB playoffs get under way.
Harper has missed the past few games to be with Kayla and Krew, but is expected to play tonight against the Pirates. On the eve of Krew's birth, the six-time All-Star ripped a home run in a win over the Red Sox.

If that wasn't enough, he also hit a walk-off grand slam against Chicago on Aug. 15. What a month it's been for Harper.
