Once Tom Brady committed to go down south and play for the Buccaneers, reports started leaking that the six-time Super Bowl champ wanted control over Tampa Bay's offense via roster decisions. Even though head coach Bruce Arians denied that this was happening, he did say that Brady had one request. On the Pat McAfee Show, Arians went into detail about Brady's authority in acquiring talent for the offense. Arians said Brady never asked for control of the offense, but wanted one thing: to add tight end Rob Gronkowski to the mix.

The rest is history. Gronkowski was shipped to Tampa for a fourth-round pick and will come out of retirement to play with the Bucs. The five-time Pro Bowler will add to Tampa Bay's plethora of weapons, including Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and OJ Howard.

Gronkowski now gives Brady an embarrassment of riches at the skill positions. Brady will now go from one of the least talented groups in New England to one of the best with the Buccaneers.

All in all, it's safe to say Patriots fans will not be happy hearing this. Not only did TB12 leave them in the dust, but he played a major role in getting Gronk to come out of retirement and making the Patriots trade him to Tampa.
