Bucs LB and Former LSU Tiger Devin White Out for Rest of Game Against Panthers With Knee Injury
By Chris Pyo

This is not the kind of news the Tampa Bay Buccaneers want in Week 2.
Stud rookie linebacker and first-round pick Devin White has been ruled out for the rest of tonight's Thursday Night Football game against the Carolina Panthers with a knee injury.
Big news: Bucs rookie LB Devin White is out for the rest of the game with a knee injury.

The No. 5 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft is expected to provide the Bucs with stability at the inside linebacker position for the next decade, especially after Kwon Alexander left for the 49ers this past offseason.
White was going in for a tackle on Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey when he injured his left leg.

Due to the lack of cameras from NFL Network b/c of lightning, here's the only angle of White's injury from the network broadcast. Looks like it's his left knee.@NFLSTROUD @gregauman @TampaBayTre #GoBucs #KeepPounding #TBvsCAR pic.twitter.com/wmrDI6RBkV
White was immediately replaced on the field by fellow LSU Tiger Kevin Minter.
If this is a non-contact injury, it could be bad. Hopefully White recovers from this tough break, but depending on the severity, it could prove to be problematic given he's already been ruled out for the game.
