Tom Brady Responds to Patriots Not 'Making a Greater Effort' to Re-Sign Him
By Brady Williams

In an NFL offseason full of trades and free agency acquisitions, Tom Brady's departure from the New England Patriots remains the most shocking move, so far. After 20 years, the Pats organization decided that their franchise quarterback was no longer worth a big paycheck.
With the news finally setting in, Brady finally made a statement about how he feels regarding the outcome of all the negotiations with his former team.
Tom Brady asked if he was disappointed the #Patriots didn't make a greater effort to return him. "No, I have nothing but total respect and love. No one who has been a bigger fan of the Patriots than me. I'm so grateful to Mr. Kraft, the organization and coach Belichick."

He seems completely comfortable with how things turned out, and is ready to make a go of it with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He can certainly rest easy knowing his new team certainly is willing to "make a great effort" for him. The Bucs signed him to a two-year, $50 million deal. What's even more encouraging for Brady is the massive fan response. The day the news broke, thousands of fans tried to buy Tampa Bay tickets and backed up the team's website.
Wow. Click on the season tickets link on Bucs' official site, and you're directed to this page, which shows quite a line of fans waiting to buy after Tom Brady news. h/t @phxcolangelo pic.twitter.com/Bw1z2g0RQv

Brady seems to have no ill will in regards to his divorce with the team that he took to nine Super Bowls, which is as classy as it gets. The Bucs are going to be thrilled when he steps on the field and shows how great of a teammate he is.
