VIDEO: Kamar Baldwin Fires Butler Past Xavier With Dramatic Last-Second 3-Pointer
By Sam Dunn
Believe in the Bulldogs! Trailing by two points on the road at Xavier with just 8.9 seconds left, Butler needed a big shot from a big-time player. Naturally, All-Big East point guard Kamar Baldwin took the ball the length of the court and fired up three-pointer to win the game. And he delivered.
The officials determined that it wasn't a true buzzer-beater, putting a second back on the clock. That wasn't nearly enough for the Musketeers, who limped home stunned after Baldwin's Saturday night smash-and-grab in Cincinnati.
It's chef kiss stuff, and a reminder that this is, in fact, March.
