Cade Mays' Dad Suing Georgia After Having Part of Finger Amputated Due to 'Unsafe' Stadium Seats
By Michael Luciano

An already depleted Georgia offensive line managed to get even more weak thanks to the impending departure of former 5-star offensive lineman Cade Mays, who entered the transfer portal and will likely join Jeremy Pruitt and Tennessee after starting 11 games at Georgia this past season.
Mays is applying for an immediate waiver that will allow him to play in 2020, as he is citing the fact that his father is suing Georgia after he lost part of his pinky finger at a Georgia athletic event.
Grounds for an immediate waiver for Cade Mays at Tennessee IMO.

Offensive line coach Sam Pittman, currently the head coach at Arkansas, put the finger on ice.
Mays was a starter on one of the best offensive lines in the country, but either the distance from his Tennessee home or the fact that his dad lost part of his finger has forced Mays to look elsewhere for playing time.

Former five-star recruit. Started 11 games this year.
Kirby Smart just lost his star running back in D'Andre Swift, his star quarterback in Jake Fromm, and two of his best offensive lineman in Mays and future Top 10 pick Andrew Thomas.
Losing Mays to Tennessee only adds to the sting. Time will tell if the lineman gets immediate eligibility.
