Cameron Maybin Tweets and Deletes Twins Troll About Uber Driving Pitcher Randy Dobnak
By Jerry Trotta
Minnesota Twins rookie hurler Randy Dobnak was trending upon his cameo out of the bullpen in Game 2 of the ALDS after it was publicized that the 24-year-old drove for Uber last year to make some extra money.
As expected, New York Yankees fans began using Dobnak's past employment for Uber against him on the mound in hopes of rattling the right-hander with ruthless chants.
Let's fast-forward to Monday night when the Pinstripes completed a three-game sweep of the Twins in the ALDS. After the dub, outfielder Cameron Maybin hilariously took to Twitter to rate the series. The tweet was comedy of the highest regard, but for reasons that we understand, Maybin deleted the post.
For those who aren't aware, after your Uber driver completes your ride, a notification will pop up on your phone that asks you to rate your ride to either boost or dock the rating of said driver.
In a superb form of banter, Maybin opted to score the one-sided ALDS as close to five stars as possible.
It goes without saying that the Yanks are the Twins kryptonite, and Minny couldn't handle another defeat at the hands of the Bombers (at least before 2020), but Killa Cam absolutely chalked up another L in the loss column for Rocco Baldelli's club after his perfect tweet on Monday night.
