The prohibitive favorites in the 2019 IIHF World Championships, Canada avenged a 3-1 loss to Finland by pummeling Great Britain 8-0. The Canadians need to turn around and refocus as they face a Slovakia side on their turf. The Slovaks are coming off of a shocking win over the US in their last game.

The best performer for the Canadiens has been Anthony Mantha of the Detroit Red Wings, who has notched two goals and three assists in his first two games. He'll need to replicate his dominant performance he authored against Great Britain to take down Slovakia.

The Slovaks took down the American team on the back of some excellent defense. Erik Cernak, who is currently a member of the Tampa Bay Lightning, scored the game-winning goal in his home country. It's hard to top that.
