Canada vs Switzerland Hockey Live Stream Reddit for IIHF World Championship Quarterfinals

The 2019 IIHF World Championships preliminary round is over, and it is now on to the quarterfinals, where Team Canada and Team Switzerland go head-to-head, with a trip to the semifinals on the line for the winner.

The quarterfinal game between the Canadians and the Swiss is scheduled for Thursday at 10:15 a.m. ET and will be televised on the NHL Network and TSN. Streams can be found on Reddit's Hockey streams subreddit.

Team Canada finished the preliminary round atop of Group A, with a 6-1 record and 18 total points. The Canadians will enter the quarterfinals as a favorite to win the tournament, but they will have to get to the semifinals without their leading scorer in the first round.

Anthony Mantha was suspended for one game, the quarterfinals, because of a hit to the head of USA forward Colin White in their previous game. The loss should be no issue for Canada, being that they have the deeper team, but the Swiss won't be going down without a fight.

The Swiss team is led by their goaltending, which has been strong for them all tournament, and led them to a 4-0 start to the tournament, before dropping their final three games.

Offensively they are led by New Jersey Devils forward Nico Hischier who has eight points in the team's seven games. Switzerland will need to dig deep to win this game and advance to the semifinals.
