VIDEO: Capitals Score 2 Goals in Final 40 Seconds and Then Win in Overtime Against Sharks
By Sean Facey

This Washington Capitals team is simply too good. They're never out of it, even when they're down big late. With under a minute to go, down two goals to the San Jose Sharks, the Capitals went all out, pulling the goalie in favor of the extra skater. The move paid off when Jakub Vrana found twine to bring the score to 4-3.

And then, with just 15 seconds left and momentum now on their side, TJ Oshie scored the game-tying goal to force overtime.

For the Capitals, it's another signature win in a thoroughly dominant campaign. For the Sharks, though, it's an agonizing loss in a season that has been characterized by failure.
