'Captain Andrew Luck' Twitter Account Pens Lengthy Farewell Address
By Adam Weinrib

Though we believed his farewell missive early on Sunday might be the final peep from one of our favorite parody Twitter accounts, it turned out the good general had some more in store.
After his namesake departed the league suddenly on Saturday night (a day ahead of schedule), Capt. Andrew Luck finally have us all the words he had in his heart on Wednesday morning, completing the retirement news cycle with a bizarre and mellifluous flourish.
“Dearest friends — I hope this letter finds you all well. Life on the family farm is just as I remembered…”

Yes, the missive is chock full of everything you love about the Captain's way with words, a true return to form for those who delight in Civil War era iconography. From "spiced raccoon knuckles and sugared skunk thighs" and "the deserter, McDaniels," our esteemed friend really went all-out in capturing the entire Luck experience for a waiting audience.
Now another domino has fallen: it looks like @CaptAndrewLuck is stepping away, too.https://t.co/Wc2vR176Ko

Though this departure obviously stings less than the one that came before, we're sad we won't get to see either of these great men ever reach...Bowl Valley.
