VIDEO: Adam Wainwright Playing Guitar With His Daughters Singing Will Warm Cardinals Fans' Hearts
By Jerry Trotta
There hasn't been any reason for baseball fans to feel confident that a 2020 season will be carried out as MLB owners and players are butting heads over the former's revenue split proposal. Some players have voiced their reluctance to abandon quarantine and jeopardize their health and that of their families. Well, this video of St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Adam Wainwright playing guitar and singing with his daughters is not only guaranteed to warm your heart, but it will also persuade you to side with the players if you (somehow) hadn't already done so.
In a week that's been filled with pessimism regarding baseball's return, this video was much needed. Wainwright is a man of many talents -- his 12-6 curveball is still one of the most lethal pitches in the game -- but we don't think anybody knew that the 38-year-old vet could strum the strings like that.
If it's not too much trouble, we're going to need more wholesome clips like this from the three-time All-Star and the rest of the Wainwright family.
