If anyone knows the aches and pains of a grueling 162-game MLB season, its Yadier Molina. The veteran catcher has been through a lot, and the crooked logo on his helmet Thursday night is symbolic of precisely that.

The star Cardinals backstop casually stepped to the plate in the second inning of a scoreless game against the Marlins this evening the "STL" logo on his helmet very clearly out of place.

Although funny and surprising, Yadi is no stranger to equipment malfunctions, as no one can forget this incident with his chest protector early in the 2017 MLB season:

As Molina dropped to block a pitch, the ball bounced up and stuck to his chest protector. Rather than bouncing off of his chest, the ball stuck to him and triggered a quick moment of panic for the confused catcher, who later found the ball stuck to his gear.

Molina's struggle with some of the most basic things in his craft is a big mood. No one knows why or how these things happen to the stud catcher, but we're here for it.
