VIDEO: Cardinals' Paul DeJong Crushes 3rd Homer of the Spring With Blast Against the Astros
By Karl Rasmussen

Cardinals shortstop Paul DeJong enjoyed a breakout season in 2019, making his first All-Star appearance while blasting a career-high 30 home runs. Well, he's hoping to continue to make strides in 2020, and he's off to a great start during the spring. DeJong got a hold of a pitch from Houston Astros reliever Joe Smith and sent it soaring out to left field on Sunday, putting the Redbirds ahead.

The blast was DeJong's third of the spring, and what better team to hit it against than the Astros?
Folks, we're pretty certain DeJong didn't need a trash can to put the barrel on this pitch. Just sayin'.
