The St. Louis Cardinals acquired the No. 4 player in the Rays minor league system in Matthew Liberatore, reportedly giving up the likes of Jose Martinez for him.
It turns out that Liberatore has been friends with Cardinals' minor leaguer Nolan Gorman for quite some time, having known each other since the age of five.
