Cardinals Release Lineup for Winner-Take-All NLDS Game 5 Against Braves
By Adam Weinrib
The Cardinals need one more miracle from a lineup that seems prepared for anything so far in 2019, and they'll have their best starter on the mound to propel them to victory.
Behind Jack Flaherty, it turns out we've got a predictable group of bashers in place for a Game 5 show at SunTrust.
Kolten Wong redeemed himself for a relatively weak series by sparking the game-winning rally in Game 4, rocketing a double into the left-field corner. He'll bat second, setting the table for Paul Goldschmidt and Marcell Ozuna.
So far on the road, we've seen one spectacular rally by the Cardinals in Game 1, and one silent outing against Mike Foltynewicz in the second contest. Which type of game will these similar bats produce this time around, against a man who's already shut them down once?
Get ready. While this one may eventually become a battle of the bullpens, the Cards will be looking to set the tone up top, drill dingers in the middle, and stay pesky with Tommy Edman at the bottom.
