Cardinals Lineup

Leading off for St. Louis is Matt Carpenter who will play at the hot-corner. Paul Goldschmidt bats second, ahead of shortstop Paul DeJong and left fielder Marcell Ozuna.

Michael Wacha will take the hill the for St. Louis. The former NLCS MVP has struggled to get his groove going this season, recording a 5.35 ERA thus far into the year. Wacha has fanned 35 batters across 37 innings and owns a 1.65 WHIP.

Braves Lineup

Austin Riley is due to make his MLB debut on Wednesday, having been called up by the Braves following Ender Inciarte's trip to the IL. Riley has been slugging in Triple-A this season, to the tune of 15 home runs and 39 RBI in just 37 games. He's batting sixth in the order.

The ball will be in the hands of Mike Soroka for the Braves who has been nothing short of exceptional. Soroka holds a jaw-dropping 1.21 ERA, the second-lowest among pitchers with 5+ starts. He has also recorded 31 strikeouts while allowing only 11 walks through 29.2 innings.

With last night's loss on their minds, the Atlanta Braves will have to be aggressive to even out the series. Hopefully Soroka can mitigate the Cardinals' explosive offense, while the Braves in turn get some runs on the board.
