Starting pitcher Jack Flaherty (3-3) will take the mound and look to rebound from his last start, where he went just 5 innings, allowing 3 earned runs on 4 hits with a 2:3 K:BB ratio. He currently sports a 4.32 ERA, and has not pitched up to expectations just yet. He'll look to turn that around against a tough Braves lineup. He's looking to grab his first win since April 28.
Braves Lineup
The Braves will enter this game on a high after winning their last series against the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Braves have tinkered their lineup recently, placing Ronald Acuña Jr. at the top of the order. Dansby Swanson bats second, with the ever-dangerous Josh Donaldson and Freddie Freeman backing him up.

The Braves are averaging 4.8 runs per game, and may need every one of those runs against the Cardinals as they deploy Mike Foltynewicz (0-2). Foltyhas not yet found the success that he had during his breakout campaign in 2018. He has posted a 5.94 ERA (11 earned runs) through his first three starts, with just 10 strikeouts in 16.2 innings pitched.
Foltynewicz started the season on the IL, but since his return he has yet to strikeout more than five batters in a game. It will be tough, but perhaps he can turn the tide against a formidable Cardinals lineup.
