Cardinals Lineup
The Cardinals could only muster two hits against starter Tony Gonsolin and the LA bullpen on Monday night. One of those two hits came off the bat of centerfielder Dexter Fowler. His 1-for-3 performance was impressive compared to the rest of the lineup, but overall indicative of his season thus far. Fowler is hitting only .240 with a .338 OBP for St. Louis.
Right-hander Miles Mikolas gets the ball for St. Louis Tuesday night, hoping to stop the bleeding for the Cards. Mikolas is 7-11 on the season with a 4.00 ERA and 90 strikeouts.
Dodgers Lineup
Joc Pederson, Cody Bellinger and Matt Beaty all return to the lineup after combining for six of the eight RBI on Monday night. Pederson and Bellinger used the long ball, while Beaty went 2-for-4 with a double. Pederson leads off with a .324 OBP, Bellinger and his 37 home runs hit clean up, and Beaty is in the seven spot.
Clayton Kershaw returns to the mound for Los Angeles. Seven of his 10 wins this season have come at Dodger Stadium, where he'll look to blank the Cardinals again. Kershaw is 10-2 with a 2.85 ERA and 122 strikeouts on the season.
