The San Diego Padres (41-40) continued their winning ways Friday night against the St. Louis Cardinals (40-40) thanks to back-to-back homers off the bats of Fernando Tatis Jr. and Eric Hosmer. Both teams are battling for a Wild Card spot, so Saturday night is a big game for both squads.
How to Live Stream the Game
First pitch is scheduled for 10:10 p.m. ET at Petco Park. The game will be televised on FOX Sports Midwest and FOX Sports San Diego. You can also find a live stream of the game on the MLB Streams subreddit.
Cardinals Lineup
He's not getting a lot of attention, but Cardinals right-hander Dakota Hudson has been phenomenal for the Redbirds, as he owns a 6-3 record with a 3.36 ERA over 16 appearances, including a 4-0 record with a 2.22 ERA over his last seven starts.
Padres Lineup
Fernando Tatis Jr. resumes his role as the leadoff hitter, and he'll be followed by veterans Eric Hosmer and Manny Machado. Franmil Reyes is hitting cleanup.
To limit his innings and overall usage, the Padres sent right-hander Chris Paddack to the minors. Well, he's back and looking to continue leading this San Diego staff. Paddack has struggled recently compared to his start to the season, posting a 4.30 ERA over his last seven starts.
