Cardinals vs Phillies MLB Live Stream Reddit for Series Opener
By Jared Kish
The St. Louis Cardinals (26-26) will travel to Philadelphia to take on the Phillies (31-22) for a three-game set at Citizens Bank Park. Both teams were off on Memorial Day and will get back to action Tuesday night.
How to Live Stream the Game
First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. ET. The game will be televised on FS-M or on NBCSP. For those out of market, the game will be available on MLB Network. Live streams of the game will be available on MLB streams subreddit.
Cardinals Lineup
The two bright spots for the Cardinals so far have been Jose Martinez and Paul DeJong, but Martinez will be out tonight with Dexter Fowler and Harrison Bader taking over in the outfield. The rest of the Cardinals lineup has not performed consistently all year. Since coming to St. Louis, Paul Goldschmidt has struck out 62 times in 201 at-bats and has yet to find his groove.
On the bump tonight for the Redbirds is veteran Adam Wainwright. In 10 starts the Cardinals righty is 4-4 with an 4.85 ERA and is yet another player trying to find his consistency.
Phillies Lineup
Unlike Bryce Harper, Jean Segura has played great since coming to the Phillies. Segura currently owns a .315 batting average and an .815 OPS. Cesar Hernandez currently leads the team in hits with 58 on the year. It sure can't hurt when you have Harper, Rhys Hoskins and JT Realmuto batting in front and behind you, right?
Taking the ball for Philadelphia is Nick Pivetta. This will be his first start for the Phillies since April 16. In his first four starts before being sent down to Triple-A Lehigh Valley, Pivetta's ERA is through the roof at 8.35.
