The Pittsburgh Pirates (46-54) will look to snap their three-game losing streak and avoid a series loss as they get set to face the St. Louis Cardinals (53-47) at PNC Park on Wednesday night.
How to Live Stream the Game
First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcasted on AT&T SportsNet and Fox Sports Midwest. Live stream will also be available on the MLB Streams subreddit.
Cardinals Lineup
Tommy Edman will once again lead off for the Birds, as the rookie has collected nine hits in his last seven games. He'll be followed by Dexter Fowler and Jose Martinez, who saved the day in the series opener with his throw in extras to prevent the game-tying run at the plate. First basemen Paul Goldschmidt will bat cleanup and look to stay hot as he keeps the Cards offense going.
Adam Wainwright will take the mound for the Cards. The three-time All-Star has maintained a 4.50 ERA this season to go along with a 6-7 record and 93 strikeouts.
Pirates Lineup
Adam Frazier will lead off for the Pirates, with Corey Dickerson and Starling Marte to follow. All-Star Josh Bell is in the power spot, validated by his 27 long balls and .979 OPS. Melky Cabrera will bat fifth to round out the heart of the order. The former 2012 MLB All-Star Game MVP appears to have found his groove, once again hitting above .300 on the year for the first time since 2014.
Jordan Lyles will be on the bump for Pittsburgh. The 28 year-old pitcher has struggled mightily in his last seven games with a shockingly ugly 0-5 record, coupled with an even more hideous 8.59 ERA.
