Carmelo Anthony Reportedly Returning to NBA After Agreeing to Deal With Trail Blazers
By Scott Rogust

After months on the open market and fans clamoring for an NBA return, Carmelo Anthony finally has a new home.
NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski dropped an unexpected Woj Bomb on Thursday night, reporting Anthony has signed a non-guaranteed contract with the Portland Trail Blazers.

Ironically, Anthony told TMZ Sports earlier in the day that he's "2,000% confident" that he'd return to the NBA this season. Many would say it was another overconfident statement by Melo, but as it turns out, he was actually in deep talks with Portland.
Anthony has yet to play in the league since this past January, after he was traded by the Houston Rockets to the Chicago Bulls, who waived him shortly after.

Anthony now joins a Trail Blazers squad that includes Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum. Luckily for him, he won't have to be a focal point on the team and could thrive as a depth piece off the bench.
