The first three years of the deal are fully guaranteed, but there is a team option in the final season of the contract.
Edwards is coming off a tremendous Summer League during which he averaged 18 points per game and shot an efficient 52% from the field.

In college, Edwards stole the spotlight at the NCAA Tournament during his junior season. He averaged 24.3 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game, draining 3.8 3's per game for Purdue.
He'll be fighting for minutes on a Celtics roster this season, but hopefully he'll make the most of whatever opportunity he's given. He's clearly a hard-worker and impressed enough to earn a multi-season contract.
