Carson Wentz Heads to Eagles Locker Room With Undisclosed Injury Before Returning
By Michael Luciano
The Philadelphia Eagles' terrible day at the office is going to get even worse, as their star quarterback has injured himself once again.
Carson Wentz, who has missed parts of the last two seasons with injuries, left their game against the Seattle Seahawks in the fourth quarter, with the Eagles trailing 10-3. It remains unclear what Wentz injury is, or its severity.
The ageless wonder that is Josh McCown will fill in if Wentz has to depart this contest.
Of course, he then emerged minutes later and warmed up on the sidelines.
Wentz, mired in the worst stretch of his career, has been objectively awful against the Seahawks.
While he had minimal NFL experience at his disposal at wide receiver, Wentz completed 18 of his 27 passes, but managed just 100 yards and threw a backbreaking interception inside the 10.
When you pair his declining play with injury concerns, the Eagles' QB situation suddenly looks much more unsettled than it did even a month ago.
