Carson Wentz is Definitely Ready for First Career Playoff Game Given Eagles' Do-or-Die Season
By Scott Rogust

The Philadelphia Eagles withstood a brutal game of hot potato that was the NFC East division and emerged as champions. Now, they have a rather tough challenge ahead of them, as they face the Seattle Seahawks, a team that was just two inches away from capturing the No. 3 seed in the NFC.
Perhaps the biggest story of this matchup is that this is the first career playoff game for Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz. Hard to believe considering this is his fourth NFL season and Philly went on a Super Bowl run two seasons ago, but here we are.
If you don't think he's ready for this, you've missed out on the fact that Wentz has been playing in do-or-die playoff-like games for the past month.
Bruh!! You can’t question Carson Wentz’s leadership skills, his ability to energize teammates, & raise their level of play. Dude has always been an amazing talent. Been in a playoff games the whole month! Now, you know more about who he is than you ever have. Dude did that.

After a shocking loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 13, many began writing the epitaph on the proverbial tombstones of the 2019 Eagles, placing a ton of blame on Wentz despite the defensive constantly blowing games.
On top of that, the team has endured many other issues.
The Eagles have dealt with injuries to a vast amount of offensive starters. DeSean Jackson, Alshon Jeffery, Zach Ertz, Jordan Howard, Nelson Agholor and Lane Johnson have all missed action in December. As a result, the Eagles have relied on Dallas Goedert, former quarterback-turned-wideout in Greg Ward Jr., and a practice squad running back in Boston Scott.
What @cj_wentz just did in the last 6 weeks of his season is way more impressive than what he did in 2017. Everything. Every single thing that everyone said “he couldn’t do or wasn’t” he smashed with the Thor hammer.

He didn’t talk-just did. No team wants to see 11 @Eagles
With his back against the wall and his reputation on the line, Wentz took a page out of the 2019 New York Yankees team, worked with scraps, and led the Eagles to a perfect 4-0 record in the final month of the season
He handled the New York Giants and Washington Redskins, but more importantly, he out-dueled Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott in Week 16 to give the Eagles the prime path to win the division.
Amazing stat on the FOX broadcast just now... Carson Wentz is the first QB in NFL history to throw for 4,000 yards and not have a single WR with 500 yards receiving.

Wentz played playoff-like games this entire month, and while he's facing a tough challenge in the Seahawks, don't rule him out so easily. He'll put up a strong fight and will be ready for the spotlight.
