3 Goals for Cavaliers to End Tough Season on a High Note
The Cleveland Cavaliers have had a rough season. Kevin Love has had issues with team management and the young guards have not improved their passing. However, all hope is not lost. With some new trades and time to improve their youngsters, the Cavs have a bright future. Here are the three goals for the Cavaliers to end the season on a high note.
3. Develop Young Talent
The Cavaliers have some incredible young talent, but need for them to train, practice and play their hearts out every day if they want to get better. According to Kevin Love and Larry Nance Jr., Collin Sexton has that mentality, but the others need to act like that as well if they want to bring the Cavs back to relevance.
2. Make Andre Drummond Happy
Andre Drummond was acquired for almost nothing at the trade deadline. However, coach John Beilein was hated so much that the team had to fire him if they wanted any chance of re-signing Drummond. Now that Beilein is gone, the Cavs have to make a very good impression on Drummond if they want the rebounding champion back next year.
1. General Cohesiveness
Team chemistry is something that the Cavs definitely need to work on. On the floor, only two players average over three assists per game, and off the floor, players are complaining to management and confiding in friends they will not re-sign. There is clearly an issue in Cleveland, and whatever it is needs to be solved by the end of the season if they want to be able to bring in free agents.
