Former New York Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia retired after the 2019 season, which had to have been difficult for him considering there's clear-cut evidence suggesting he and his team were cheated out of at least one AL pennant thanks to the Houston Astros' sign-stealing.

In wake of all of the countless revelations and responses this week, Sabathia made sure to bury former Astros manager AJ Hinch on his podcast, R2C2, with Ryan Ruocco on Thursday.

“He shouldn’t be managing again. I’m sorry. He shouldn’t," CC said of the fired Hinch. "How could he manage again? He can’t tell a young team not to cheat? And when he was with the Diamondbacks, the veterans didn’t like him? So, then, who likes him?”

Hinch's week pretty much couldn't have gone any worse, but Sabathia made sure to hammer the final nail in his coffin. Hinch appeared on MLB Network last Friday to speak on camera regarding the team's scandal and the league's investigation, and, oddly enough, further damning findings were revealed via the Wall Street Journal regarding the whole ordeal DURING his TV spot, making the suspended manager look even worse.

Here's the audio of Sabathia from his podcast:

With all of these players, former players and coaches being so outspoken on the matter, you have to think commissioner Rob Manfred is feeling like he didn't do enough in terms of dropping the hammer on the Astros for what they've done.
