CC Sabathia Posts Amazing Throwback Instagram With Bartolo Colon Just for Fun
The absence of sports being played means we all have to watch old games and highlights to pass the time. Social media is a great place to take in all the memories.
CC Sabathia decided to add to the fun on his Instagram. Many MLB fans know him for his time with the New York Yankees. Yet, CC got his start with the Cleveland Indians and was with the team from 2001-2008.
Indians fans should smile at the picture Sabathia shared featuring another former ace beloved by all baseball fans.
Bartolo Colon was with the Indians up until the 2002 trade deadline. He and Sabathia holding ace cards was fitting given how talented both were in Cleveland. The two combined for 29 wins in a 2001 season that saw the Indians win the Central Division and Sabathia finish second in American League Rookie of the Year voting.

Both players are Indians greats and the post was a fun reminder of how stacked the team was before a rebuilding phase began in 2002. It is also a great history lesson and shows a younger version of the seemingly ageless Colon.
