CC Sabathia Says He'll Get an MRI After Yankees 'Get Back From Houston'
By Parker White

Outside of losing the game to go down 3-1 in the series, the worst part of Thursday night's defeat for the New York Yankees was CC Sabathia leaving the mound for the final time at Yankee Stadium with an injury.
Sabathia has already been replaced on the ALCS roster, so he can focus on his health because his season, and career, is over.
However, in a very subtle way, Sabathia still thinks there's a chance this team can get to the Fall Classic, as he won't get an MRI until the team gets "back from Houston."
Subtle but Sabathia said he will get an MRI “after we get back from Houston.”

So, the Yankees are going back to Houston in this series? That would mean a win is in order against Astros ace Justin Verlander.
A Yankee win Friday night would force a Game 6 in Houston, but a loss would end New York's season.
CC Sabathia on shoulder prognosis. “I don’t know. Maybe get an MRI when we get back from Houston.” #Yankees obviously planning to play this weekend.

Even with a dislocated shoulder that's causing him pain and likely ended his farewell season, Sabathia is still a leader on this team and has a belief that they can overcome the odds and advance.
