CeeDee Lamb's Girlfriend Explains Awkward Phone-Stealing Situation From Draft Night

The NFL Draft is always a night full of drama, most of it playing out behind scenes as general managers and coaches search for trades and reach out to potential draft targets. When University of Oklahoma wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was taken with the No.17 pick by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2020 NFL Draft Thursday night, fans got to see some unexpected drama play out live on screen.

While being broadcast onto national television, Lamb's girlfriend Crymson Rose attempted to take his second cell phone from him while he was on a call on another phone with the Dallas Cowboys. The incident has been trending on Twitter since, and now Rose has taken to social media to reply.

Rose has replied to the various speculations of Twitter users by asserting that the alleged "phone stealing" was just her trying to answer a FaceTime call from Lamb's agent while he was on the phone with the Cowboys.

No matter why Rose was taking the phone, the internet has already had its fun with the moment. Everyone who's anyone, including former Oklahoma basketball star and Rose's ex-boyfriend Trae Young, weighed in.
